After eloping in Cleveland County, these two deserved portraits that fully reflected the emotion and significance of their day. Originally planned at the Cleveland County Courthouse, their ceremony was ultimately moved outside to Historic Court Square in Shelby, now home to the Earl Scruggs Center.
A few days later, we met on my family’s farm in North Carolina to create intimate post-elopement portraits surrounded by the quiet woods and soft evening light. The entire session felt relaxed, emotional, and deeply meaningful — a chance to preserve this season of their story in a way that truly felt like them.
