Katie’s senior prom session in Uptown Shelby, North Carolina was the perfect mix of elegance, excitement, and timeless downtown charm. Between the beautiful architecture, glowing evening light, and Katie’s stunning prom look, every part of this session felt effortlessly beautiful.


Prom is such an important milestone during senior year, and capturing these memories in a meaningful way makes the experience even more special. Uptown Shelby gave us the perfect backdrop with its classic streets, textured buildings, and romantic small-town atmosphere.

Katie looked absolutely incredible for her senior prom. Her dress photographed beautifully against the downtown scenery, and every little detail came together perfectly for such an elegant look.


One of my favorite parts of prom sessions is capturing both the big moments and the smaller details that make the night unforgettable. From the excitement before heading to prom to the confidence that shines through during portraits, these sessions always tell such a special story.

Uptown Shelby is one of my favorite locations for senior and prom portraits in North Carolina. The mix of historic buildings, sidewalks, storefronts, and natural light creates so much variety in a single session.


The downtown area gave Katie’s gallery such a timeless and sophisticated feel while still allowing the images to feel fun and youthful. Every corner offered a new backdrop that perfectly complemented her prom style.

Katie made this session so easy and fun. She photographed beautifully in every location, and her excitement for prom made the entire session feel so joyful and memorable.
